Apart from studies, other activities play an integral role in the holistic development of students. For instance, Seminars and Webinars, Mentoring programme for students, Microteaching etc. constitute the co-curricular as well as extracurricular activities that award the students with crucial skills.
A parent teacher meeting for Sem-II ( Hons ) was organized by the department on 26th June, 2021 at 7.30 pm.
A parent teacher meeting for Sem-IV ( Hons ) was organized by the department on 1st July, 2021 at 7.45 pm.
A parent teacher meeting for Sem-VI ( Hons ) was organized by the department on 3rd July, 2021 at 7.45 pm.
5. Online career mentoring programme was organized for chemistry (Hons) students on 20th September, 2021 at 7pm in Google Meet platform.
6. Department of Chemistry, Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College conducted a online microteaching session on 7th October, 2021 at 7pm. This microteaching programme motivated the students of all semesters a lot.
7. Students of Department of Chemistry participate in celebration of International Science Day on 28th February each year.
8. Students used to prepare wall magazine, E-magazine etc with the help of the faculty members.
9. Except the above activities, faculties of this department participate in various Seminars, Webinars, Faculty Development Programmes, and Workshops etc to update themselves continuously.
