9. Your mode of transport to the college:

Most of the students of our institution avail public transport like train , bus, auto or by walking

10. How long does it take to reach your institution?

The time duration taken by most of the students is 10 to 45 minutes. Few of them who travels a long distance takes a duration of 1- 1.5 hours.

 

Part D (Qualitative Information)

22. Why did you want to study your selected subject?

Most of them has a keen interest in this subject due to the fact that they love nature and environment and wants to gain more knowledge about it.

23.Which part of your syllabus is most interesting to you and why?

Genetics and taxonomy are loved by most of them.Some of them also prefer biochemistry, biostatistics as a subject of interest.

24.Which part of your syllabus is not interesting to you and why?

Paleobotany is the part most of them prefer to be boring. Some of them has added Phycology, mycology, morphology to this category.

25. Are you feeling interest in online teaching system ?If not why?

Most prefers online classes to be interesting enough, but some denies this fact due to the reason that they cannot interact well with the teachers as they used to do during the offline classes.

26. For better understanding your syllabus of the present study which academic help do you expect from your subject teachers?

Students have reviewed that more practicals have to be done and illustrations to be shown so that it helps them to understand the subject better and gain more knowledge.

27. What is your self-judgement regarding improvement of your academic results?

Most of the students have accepted the fact that practicing is the most beneficial aid they can perform for improving their academic results.

28. Do you want to continue with this subject after completing graduation? Why or Why Not?

Most of the students prefer to study this subject further by taking up M.Sc. Others prefer to study for competitive exam or directly apply for jobs.

29. What is your career plan?

Most of then want to be scientists and teachers. Some on the other hand wants to do job.

30. Do you think the mentoring is beneficial for you? Why or Why not?

Mentoring is the most crucial and beneficial thing which one can do in this era where pandemic has hit us all hard. Mentoring can lead a student successfully towards her/his goal and career enhancement and hence live a better life.
