Dr. Surajit Bag, SACT-1, Department of microbiology, Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College, Kolkata, had research experience in nanoparticle synthesis, characterization and it’s antimicrobial property and also in biosorption field. He has teaching experience in microbiology in general and industrial microbiology for about 4 years. He has carried out his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the Department of Food Technology & Bio-Chemical Engineering, Jadavpur University. His teaching arena includes industrial microbiology and environmental microbiology. His current research interest includes biosorption of dye and heavy metal as well as green synthesis of nanoparticles. Dr. Bag published his findings in several national and international journals.
