Struggle and success-inspiring stories from our former students
The program was organized by the Department of Microbiology, Placement Cell, Alumni association of Microbiology and IQAC. The program was held on 19.09.2021 in the ONLINE MODE. 121 students participated in the program. In this program 2 successful alumni members of the Department of Microbiology Miss Srishti Banerjee (Ph.D Scholar, Circadian Rhythms & Disease Biology Laboratory, Department of Biotechnology, IIT Hyderabad) and Mr. Rounak Ray (Executive, upstream cell culture, Biocon Biologics) shared their story and knowledge with the participants and inspired them to move on even if they fail a few times. Both the speakers had completed their graduation from this department and now they were working in entirely 2 different fields. So, they also talked about the various scopes and career opportunities in microbiology.
