Introduction of M.A. in seven subjects through Distance Education

To ensure higher education for all we have decided to harmonize the informal education, popularly known as Distance Education with the formal one. We have opened a “Study Centre” affiliated to Rabindra Bharati University in 2009 so that M.A. courses in as many as seven subjects viz. Bengali, English, Education, History, Pol. Science, Sanskrit & Environmental Studies can be introduced here in our college. We have a firm faith that the introduction of Distance Education in our college will fill in the void zone where formal education cannot do so. We believe that by this higher education can reach the doorstep of the common masses, especially the students who cherish a desire to get higher education but are being deprived of getting the same owing to either unsatisfactory results or socio-economic factors.
