Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College is located in the heart of a colony area of refugees coming from East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). The students’ community catered by the college is mainly lower to middle income group. The social and educational background of the students is also not very promising. A good number of students are prone to drop out from study in the mid of the session due to mainly economic reason. On the other hand our college believes in inclusive education. To fulfil the target to include all sections of people from the society as our student, we have introduced a students aid fund. Every session a number of students are benefited from this fund.
