BAISALI ROY CHOWDHURY (SACT, M.A, M PHIL, THESIS SUBMITTED)

My name is Baisali Roy Chowdhury.  I have been Working in this college since September 2003 as SACT teacher. I have completed my schooling from Nava Nalanda High school, Kolkata and completed my graduation with honors in philosophy from Lady Brabourne College Kolkata. I have completed M.A and M PHIL from Calcutta University and submitted Ph.D. Thesis on December 2020. I have been appointed as a paper setter by Calcutta University in the session of 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 for the Semester Five General. This year I have been appointed as a Head Examiner for Semester Five General, 2022-2023. I have computer knowledge and can teach both in English and Bengali versions. Apart from teaching I like singing travelling and reading books.

1. I have worked in Gokhale Memorial Girls College from 2008 to 2019 as a Guest Lecturer in philosophy.
2. I have worked in Central Model School, Kolkata, as a Philosophy Teacher for one and a half year.

I am the member of the Psychological Counselling Cell of college and also the member of Grievance Redressal cell.

2. (SOCIAL ACTIVITIES)

I am engaged with an Orphanage, SAMPARC ORGANIZATION, TOLLYGUNGE, KOLKATA.I try to help the organization and to support the children.
